Impact Stories

From Dropout to Dream Chaser

At just 14 years old, Amina had dropped out of school due to financial hardship after losing her father. Her mother struggled to provide basic needs, making education seem impossible.

Through the Haddy Ametuo Charity Foundation Educational Support Program, Amina received a full scholarship package, school uniforms, books, and mentorship support.

Today, Amina is back in school, excelling academically, and has become one of the top students in her class. Beyond education, she now mentors younger girls in her community, inspiring them to stay in school.

“I thought my dream of becoming a nurse was over. Haddy Ametuo Charity Foundation gave me a second chance and restored my hope.”
— Amina, Scholarship Beneficiary

From Struggle to Sustainable Income

Fatima, a widowed mother of three, depended on irregular support from relatives to feed her family. With no stable income or vocational skills, survival was a daily challenge.

Through the Foundation’s Women Economic Empowerment Initiative, she received skills training in soap production, business development coaching, and startup support.

Within six months, Fatima launched her small business and now supplies products to local markets, generating steady income and supporting her children’s education.

Her business has also created opportunities for two other women in her community.

“Before the training, I had no means of survival. Today, I can provide for my children and even help others. This program changed my life.”
— Fatima, Women Empowerment Beneficiary
